When he signed we were told he had a minor injury issue, but I was hoping thanks to the summer break he'd start pre-season at the same pace as everyone else. Slightly worrying that he still seems to be behind the pack, but hopefully now he can get up to speed and become a key player.

Yeah it's a strange one. He's 4th choice behind ML, CS and DM for striker and probably further down the pack for CAM if you include Jones and Austin in that position so if it was going to be anyone who was missing pre-season then I'd probably have chosen Morais.
