We will obviously never know how Labour / LibDems / Greens / Reform / UKIP / Monster Raving Loony would have done, but that doesn't mean that the party in power, the Conservative party, shouldn't be held to account for any failings simply because "other parties might have been just as bad".

That's why I referenced the Covid enquiry, because their report should be based on facts.
I agree with that, and there should be accountability, but it was a difficult situation and I’m sure others would make mistakes that’s all I’m saying.
