I was brought up watching Accrington is the 50s and 60s, the vast majority of Aussie pros were bad tempered, bad losers, never take your sweater off an umpire if you can snatch it off him in a fit of pique. They haven't changed much.

My grandad used to take me to Enfield to watch Bobby Simpson. He used to sledge him for fun after a couple of pints of Lion's bitter!

I was only about 8 or 9 at the time mon ami, the mind plays horrible tricks on you as the years pass. We went over to Burnley to watch Charlie Griffiths of that I'm pretty sure and there was another one at Church but I'm buggered if I can remember who he was. Originally Posted by sinkov
