How come our U23 get such sh*t results with all these good, young players?

Anderson is a good player. Defensively sound and good on the ball. He’d be worthy competition for Schär but 40mil is too much. Going rate for a PL player these days though. Mental money.

I’d also prefer to see us target (no pun intended) a left back and I’m quite confident we’ll get Lewis Hall on loan from Chelsea before the end of the window.

How come our U23 get such sh*t results with all these good, young players?

A lot of clubs and youth coaches argue that results come second at youth level. Learning tactics and formations etc. comes first so they have a chance of making it at a higher level. That said, we do seem to lose a lot of games!
