I am minded to say our paths have crossed at some point!

I am very well aware that this affects you directly, and for some reason you appear to be missing that i share your concerns, but as i did in my quest to get this permit scheme implemented, i encourage you to get in touch with my areas local Councillors and plead your case! Also get in touch with both clubs to point out the detrimental effect this issue will have on you. Maybe the place for Blue Badge parking is behind the Provie?

When you look for reasons as to why capacity has been reduced, put that Blue Badge in your pocket for a few minutes and look at the situation from an angle that does not include your disability. Think along the lines of the position of N Isla Street in relation to Tannadice, emergency access, access for sizeable away support and add in the equipment for broadcasting. You very quickly have a recipe for a disaster that i really do not want repeated, never minding what clubs support is involved!

I therefore think its just a coincidence that we are being informed about Blue Badge parking arrangements in non residential N Isla Street through the Residents Permit Scheme for the wider area.

But as i have already alluded to, you take from somewhere, you should have to add in provision elsewhere.

I think you may be misunderstanding me a little, probably my fault. My beef isn't with local residents campaigning to make their lives easier it's with the local council for restricting the availability of blue badge parking, especially in a road (North Isla Street) that has very few residential properties, if any.

Like i said above though, i am not convinced that future restrictions in N Isla Street are anything to do with the Permit Scheme and more towards safety concerns.
