The lad is young, yet has a senior cap for Italy, and has scored for his country. He is one of the very few current Leeds players who, despite his clear need for greater self-discipline, has excited the supporters playing both home and away and in the PL and EFL. We got him for a song, one of the VERY few credits Orta deserves, however I suspect that like all those who have departed after a very short spell at ER, he was promised PL gametime, and with it the exposure on the world stage of football. He's not going to get that this season, and might not for some time and so the "bargain" that was struck when he joined isn't being delivered (in his eyes, his agents, and/or his parents).

Which of those who have voiced their disgust at the lads desire to leave wouldn't do the same (perhaps HAVE done the same) when a promised future fails to materialise? "Walk a mile in my shoes".

Btw, he may have played in 24 PL games, but only with 56 mins per game on average, and at least he has scored for us, unlike a certain Mr Rutter for whom we paid SEVEN times as much as for Gnonto.
He has his agent/advisers, who seem to be stirring things up, they would also have their own views on how well Leeds would do in PL and not believing everything our previous owners/manager may have promised him. Nothing is guaranteed with regard how well the season goes. In his interview Farke said he was fit but unavailable, to date Farke has been transparent…. Nobody bigger than the club including this delusional bargain heads been turned.
