In my opinion for many years past integrity has been an alien concept to most of these inadequates and it gets worse every year.

Well, I think the most important thing is that the performance restored any wobbling faith in the millers. At 2 up and right up to the 2nd yellow, we were completely in control.

I can only assume that all referees have been told to forcefully implement those rules on celebrating with the crowd and washing imaginary cards. If so, has there been a failure in letting out players know? Or Fred at least!

    This from ESPN _

    Waving an imaginary card
This is phenomenon that has perhaps avoided specific inclusion in the official Laws of the Game mainly because "waving an imaginary card" is a preposterous set of words to appear in the same footballing sentence. Nevertheless, the waving of imaginary cards is frequently cited as an unwelcome by-product of the foreign influx to these Premier League. Before 1992, we apparently made do with simply asking the referee to book an opponent -- which is fine, obviously.

As for the first card, it looked like at least 5 players ran to the crowd. Are only goalscorers booked?

Apparently not. Victor was apparently booked for pointing out that their player kicked the ball away and wasn't booked. Therefore Victor got booked. So seems not just for the gesture!

Will it be applied consistently? Will it ****.
