This is typical of today’s “manage by numbers” mentality, too many managers try to fit in with modern trends and be too clever by half.

I don’t think for a minute he thought the game wasn’t safe at 3-0 so he was trying to get the squad some game time because there’s a chance that he’ll be left with this squad and no additions. He’s as good as said that in interviews. That’s why he gives them game time when it’s safe. However, Swansea have proved time and time again that they can come back from a deficit. I’m sure most of us on here would have kept key players on the field, especially v Swansea. Some amazing results today, that make our result and 3 points not the main talking point. Don’t know what the Saints fans must be thinking right now, or Leeds.

Totally agree! Bombers point here Boingy is a fact and game time should only be on a like for like quality basis. Weaken the team by taking off Okay and Molumbey and you are over exposing a very poor back four who are bad enough!

Corberan is no idiot and I suspect he was managing injury risk rather than intentionally weakening the team through foolery as some suggest. We have a tiny squad, give the bloke a break.

Watching those highlights is an eye opener, WTF are we doing in training each day?

Players stood like statues just watching when crosses come in, tall players mistiming their leaps, others switching off completely.

That is as dismal as you’ll ever see as a defensive unit.

A team with a good front three will absolutely ravage us.
