I've only seen the replay once; but it looks to me that if Stone covers the near post, it looks like Brindley would have had the far post covered. Maybe there is a lack of understanding and confidence going on between defence and goalkeeper so neither comes to one thing or the other (hardly surprising after the first couple of games). That should improve over time.

Surprise surprise Durham having a go at Nemane.😅

These mistakes are happening virtually every game. Its not just Nemane. The only way to put a stop to it is take the offending player off straight away, regardless of who it is. That is is the only way you will get this lot to cut out these basic errors.

Hadn't thought it was a weak pass to the keeper, thought it was overstruck to Rawlinson but know you mention it, it does look that way (?). Heaven knows why Brindley put the brakes on instead of putting pressure on the attacker?

Ratings from the OP are solid.

Mine would be a fair bit meaner to the defence to reflect that we're 24th for that having conceeded 7 goals in 2 games.
I think we've only had 1 of the back-line (back 3 + GK) play to par or above par in each game...Rawlo last week and Brindley this, who I'd give a 7 to, for a much improved performance and a nice reminder of a player of a similar stature do it (Pedro) in the centre over 40 years ago.

On the positive side, I'd give Danny Crowley a rare 9/10, and MoM, for a sensational home league debut. He hardly put a foot wrong all game. Also good 8/10s for Bostock and Jones, who really showed their higher level class at times. Nemane would get a strong mark too. Subs - exactly the same as the OP.

If any team not just Notts, took a player off every time they made a mistake the games would be called off through shortage of players very quickly.
Players are allowed mistakes, I know I'm not perfect in my work, yet my work is much more pre ordained than a soccer match.
I'm as frustrated more than most than Camerons continual errors and play acting, Brindleys (until 2nd half yesterday) refusal to get out of 1st gear both mentally and physically. Also Baldwins horrendous decision making in his over aggressive play.
However, I think rightly LW has to show faith in them and see if they can make the step up. There were shoots of improvement yesterday.

    Your solution is ludicrous😁

    I don't think so.
It was a terrible pass to Rawlo, but the main thing he had to do was not let it get past him. Any touch would have been better than letting it through. Four players can share a slice for that one, but Nemane's is the biggest slice.

You could say it was weak in terms of being poorly placed, but the real issue was it had too much pace in front of Rawlo - who totally misjudged it, missed it leaving him out of position and facing the wrong way, panicked, and gifted Rose a yard to run onto it.

This is where the players were positioned.

Nah! Poor pass to the keeper every day of the week.

I'll defer to those at the game cos the video feed doesn't show where Rawlo was when Nemane played it. Really didn't look like a pass to the keeper to me, and still doesn't, but I only had the video feed to go on.
