Devlin apart from his brainfart was good too
We didnt lie down and get our bellies tickled like we usually do against those c@nts
Get a new CH,attacking midfielder, striker, winger and we could have a good season
I'd agree with all of that - do think that Barry needed to get fresh legs on too. Really don't want Scales on loan - he's either ours or theirs.

I'd agree with that and I thought we were the better team in the first half. A little bit more composure from us in both defence and attack and would have been a different outcome. We had that cûnts rattled today.

Thought Morris did well today, especially in the first half. There is certainly something to work with. I am sure they can work on his end product. Polvara looks like he is technically a good player, but lacks experience at times. If only we had put him on loan to a Scottish team when he first arrived here, it would have done him a lot of good. I'm also going to get it in the neck and say I though McKenzie did well too today. He gets dragged out of position a lot, but a MacDonald alongside him would soon sort that out.

All of that. Morris played about 30 minutes aggregate last season and the usual fitba geniuses/tactical wizards had him written off.

Talking of which, has onybody been roon to Red John’s gaff to check he’s nae lying senseless* behind his front door under a month’s pizza leaflets?

    “admittedly, difficult to tell

Yeah I can’t disagree with any of the comments on here.

Obviously never good when we lose but a lot of positives from today.

First time for a while that we gave them a game, they were rattled you could tell by their time wasting antics.

Thought Morris and Duncan looked good,Devlin apart from the mistake looks good McKenzie and Rubezic did well too.

The guy Polvara was decent looks like he will get better the more he plays.

Still think Duk isn’t 100% fit yet, definitely needs a few more games to get back to his best.

Encouraged by that, we're well short at the back but had a dart at them.
Barry said pre-match 3 or 4 to come in, plus we have the walking wounded to come back also.
I think we'll be fine this season.

I meant to add, liked the new funcy looking dugout areas at Pittodrie and also a bit of work done to the disabled part of the Merkland stand. Electronic boards all around the ground now too.

On a personal note, we changed seats in the south stand this season and are right up at the back near the half way line with a cracking view of the pitch.

We are now a long ball team. If Red John were here he'd tell youz the same.

That was certainly the consensus of opinion around me (ie I thought so).

Unlucky today. No doubt the TV highlights will ensure that that isn’t shown. It was heartening too see that Devlin refused to let his fûck-up affect his game, and he made up for it with that goal-line clearance in the second half.
Well if you are in the SS I was the one screaming "You can still book the ****, Clancy".
And as for MacGregor's "tackle" on Morris...didn't Mickey Devlin (in one of his infrequent starts) get sent off for something similar in a similar part of the field. It's almost as if the refs are biased.

Would agree with you if you were commenting on last week's game against Livi but I thought we mixed it up quite well today. We should definitely cut out the bye-kick routine where all outfield players make their way to a small segment either side of the half-way line and Roos pumps it hoping for a defensive deflection so we win a shy.

There were a few shouts of that to be fair.
It the blatentness of the decisions that get you. Take the foul Shinnie gave away that led to the first goal, nothing much that didn't happen elsewhere on the pitch, but they only get called when they are advantageous to either the Tim or the Hun.

I do believe ref's have a hard job, but Christ they don't help themselves.

Walking to the game today, I said to the loon the ref will get an ironic cheer from us when he eventually gives a foul against Celtic and it happened quite early on too.

They thing is they don't help either of the cheeks, as when they play in Europe they don't get Scottish refs making bizarre decisions and their players just end up looking like fannies when they try it, forgetting the refs don't give a shyte about them.
