Without doubt the problem started with Nemane's bad pass. The question is whether - once that happened - anyone else could have done more to dig him out of trouble, and I think the answer to that is yes. As matt_magpie says above, Brindley should have busted a gut to put a challenge in on Rose, but by hesitating he made it easy for the striker. In the final analysis it didn't cost us 3 points, but hopefully when they watch the video back it will be a learning opportunity for Nemane, Rawlinson and Brindley.
