I must have been at a different game today then. Long balls yes, but we did play on the deck at times too.
We faced our biggest opponents in the league with a weakened team and did a fairly good job of it as well.

Far more positives than negatives to take from today.

Long ball is good . Especally when the opposition has all their players up for a corner

Lets Miovski get a decent charge in on goal.

Long ball is bad. When it`s just lumped up for their Centre Halfs to outjump Miovski.

    Mix it up. P`easy.

Felt we deserved a draw today. Created more chances than I can remember in the entire DM reign against them. Great to have a go. No failures, just one howler and a couple of poor passes cost us a point at least.

    Just watched the highlights.
If I was Morris I would be raging.
Skinned his man over and over again but according to the highlights he never touched the ball.

    What were we before?

A sh1t team who tried to play out from the back under Glass and Goodwin and it got us nowhere.

Celtic were playing out from the back today and it’s actually not entertaining at all.

Maybe I’m just getting old but get the ball up the park and attack teams, watching a goalkeeper and centre backs passing the ball to each other in their own box seems dreadful to me.

Enjoyed the game today, certainly the first half. Agree with the majority of posters - a lot of positives to take and we certainly took the game to them. Play like that each week and we’ll do fine.

Morris did a lot better at wing back (although was ball watching for their third), thought McKenzie and Duncan teamed up well, Miovski worked hard - got bullied a bit to start but then found his feet. Rubi will do just fine - generally sensible and has a bit of technique to boot.

No yellow cards at all for us - is that a first??

Our road to world domination will be long and full of potholes, like today's result, but I still believe that the quadruple is very much on.

No we saw the same game for sure. I only commented on one facet of it. In fairness my comment should have been like yours "more balanced" What I saw was a brave have a go performance from the Lads and a constant pumping of the ball over the Celtic defence (paid off once) So I hope this was just "horses for courses against a tough Celtic side "" Far more positives than negatives to take from today"" quote of the day.

Baz has stopped that Goodwin pîsh of trying to get the centre half/full backs to play from defence when the ‘keeper has the ball, because we were shîte at it and the ball ended up being launched anyway when ut invariably ended up back with Roos. He may now have the players capable of doing it, but yesterday was not the occasion on which to experiment.

    And that’s fit I think.

It wasn’t horses for courses, it was the only horses we had due to lack of depth and injuries. McGarry, MacDonald and Hayes unavailable plus another 3 decent signings hopefully and then we’ll have a more solid squad.
