I agree that now F1 is very tedious/processional but is that any different to the Mercedes dominant period under Hamilton and his second string and before then Vettel in Red Bull or Schumacher in Ferrari. Its been a dreadful TV sport for maybe 20 years due to one car's dominance each season, which car then combines with the premier driver. Senna v Prost was probably the last era when there was interesting races at the front, although for me the all time hero was Vittorio Brambilla whose record of destroying cars was surmounted by his crashing as he took the checkered flag in his only race win.

Max does seem, apart from being a damned good driver, to have a car that is simply much faster than the rest. The car doesn't seem to be as good in Checco's hands. Lewis never got above 10 wins in a season. Nowhere near the dominance Max is showing, having won 8 of the 10 races thus far including the last 6. The other 2 were won by Checco. That's 10 out of 10 for the energy drinkers. I would back it being 11 from 11 at the Hungaroring.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it became 23/23 by the end of November

You do wonder if the FIA had known that the Red Bull would become so dominant if they would have made more ethical decisions around Abu Dhabi 21.

They wouldn’t, they have no ethics. I support no particular driver but I view 2021 in the same manner as the Lance Armstrong TDF years (not suggesting Max cheated btw)

I see the Government have yet again postponed the introduction of checks on goods entering the Uk from the EU, mainly because they know it will disrupt imports and cause increased costs for food and other goods.

So in this fantastically managed Brex****, we have, farmers, manufacturers and UK exporters hamstrung by increased red tape and costs, whilst EU exporters ahve no such impediments and continue as before.

Of course the government could ahve negotiated a deal which allowed truly frictionless trade with the EU, but were so determined on a really hard Brexit that they refused but have end up with a situation where at the moment and for the foreseeable future, the friction on trade is only on Uk exporters and they wonder why Uk economy is hardly growing!!

Another example of utter ****wittery, is the abandonment of the UK quality regulation (though some claim its just postponed, the reality is it was a nonsense). So we will stick with the EU kitemark, well the vast majority of our goods are exported to the EU, so would need to meet EU standards and the cost of a separate (not necessarily higher though) UK standard would be a nonsense for both Uk and EU firms.

Of course many companies and the UK government have spent hundreds of thousands on this piece of nonsense already, plus the time and staff resources that arguably could ahve been directed elsewhere to better effect.

Truly Johnson did not lie when he said "**** business!"

The 500+ rescued from the Channel yesterday. Why weren't they returned to France?

Perhaps they were planning to give them legionnaires disease to eradicate the problem?

But the legionaires are made up with foreigners.
    Can't they have them?
