We have had 10 yellow cards on the Pitch, 2 yellow cards on the sidelines and 2 red cards in 2 league games and there hasn’t been a bad tackle in either game.
We pay to watch the footballers. Not the referees. The best Refs let the game flow and go unnoticed.
Howard Webb is responsible for this mess he has to admit his mistake before people start falling out of love with football.

It got so farcical on Saturday that I honestly thought there'd be a pitch invasion. Especially when Madley took an age in strutting over to MT to give him a yellow card for being disgusted with Fred's sending off. Again the inconsistency, this entire process is all supposed to be about cutting out time wasting and keeping the game flowing, but yet that arrogant idiot purposely sauntered across the pitch to book MT and sauntered back. He no doubt revelled in the boos he was getting. Because it was all about him.

The bizarre thing is, and I think this has been mentioned elsewhere, I thought he was OK in the first half. Not perfect but we can never expect that. He let the game flow, he dealt with a few issues by calling players over and having a word. As a result the game flowed nicely, it was fairly contested and big bonus we were 1-0 up going into the break. It's almost like he got a phonecall at half time telling him he needed to be a complete muppet for the second half because what happened next (probably because we had the audacity to go 2-0 up) was unforgivable

I cant believe Webb as a so called millers fan has not at least seen a vid of the game. IF he hasnt he should be sent one with a note saying watch this idiot and see what you think of his performance.

RUFC should send in copies of other games where players were allowed to celebrate with fans to EFL and demand fairness on the crowd hug issue if nowt else. We are too chuffin soft if we dont the sh it will continue.
THe least they can do is rescind freds red card.
If we all take yellow cards to stadium and wave them about will the club be deducted points?

I called it and the excuse will be that his eyes were on the ball at all time and didn’t see the players.

So at Rotherham Utd a player runs to the crowd to celebrate a goal. He gets his first yellow card. Manchester Utd score and run to the crowd - no action by Referee Hooper.

Like i said before, we shouldn't run to the edge of the pitch and keep the fake yellow in your pocket. If we give some of these muppet refs(and there's more to come) the chance to flash the cards, then they will.
We must learn to be more cute, don't give them the chance................................UTM.

Sound advice indeed. Yes, the euphoria feeling when you score a goal is great and emotions can run amok, however, caution will have to ensue and players should aim to remain well within the playing area if they are not to take on a stupid booking by over celebrating, shirt off etc, or risk getting shoved into your home crowd by your own players.

As for the ‘fake’ yellow….. that was plain silly and lacked professionalism and let’s hope he learnt from that mistake.

As for ‘making Webb accountable’ IF, he questions Refs who officiate our games about their glaring mistakes, he could face a backlash of being over bias, as he clearly lets it well known if his love for his home town club. He’s in a no win situation with that dilemma.
