Tough news. Only Garth left of the five, and he seems to be a recluse.

Whilst speaking ill of the dead isn’t to be encouraged, I was disappointed when Levon especially called Robbie out for claiming the publishing royalties for the majority of The Band’s songs, when they were collborative efforts. I think they did reconcile before Levon died.

Jamie Reid - A designer best known for the S*x Pistols record sleeves.

Apparently, he designed and had printed the first sleeve for a SP record in Aberdeen, which wasn't used.

I've only just learned that Rodriguez, made famous-ish by the cracking movie "Searching for Sugarman" passed away earlier this week.
Only 66 (I think) or thereabouts.

Michael Parkinson, professional Yorkshireman, the chat show master 40+ years ago, has shouldered his bat for the last time. Out on 88, a faint edge to Reaper at second slip.

The online Guardian headline had a picture of him with the caption "Michael Parkinson, shot by Jane Brown" (it's now been changed to "photographed"). Sure he'd have found it funny.

Just saw an old clip of him taking Kenneth Williams to task, after Williams was putting the boot into strikers.
