I cannot remember a single pant being pïshed.
Last time we won the cup, we scraped through on penalties at home to Alloa after a 0-0 draw in the second round.

Change those 2 teams for Man City, Man Utd, Real, Barca etc.

Whichever teams gobble up the vast majority of their domestic trophies was my point which I like to think you'd recognise.

And a defence that the Swedes will tear to shreds based on their previous game and ours tonight. Yeah all is rosy

See what I wrote with regards that

Who decides what’s the most important match of the season?

For the record, Joe Harper scored twice in the next game to beat Celtic. From memory we then went on to beat the Huns 5-1, TMSTID 3-2, and Motherwell 3-1 the week before we beat the green wánkers in the final.

Ach, we didn't play that well but it's only our third competitive game and there is 14 other teams that would happily swap with us already in the quarters and able to put our feet up this weekend and watch out for some cup upsets.

Plus with a 6-day break before our crucial European game

Well financially it could very well turn out to be our most important match of the season, as much as we would drop into the Conference we could be in the Europa league with teams such as Liverpool which would bring in substantially more revenue. And if we finished 3rd in Europa then we're in the Conference after Christmas if memory serves.

So I would say over the course of this season then it would rank up there with importance. Remind me, how many times in the past 20 years have we been in the playoff for Europa league?

Why would I need to remind you since you seem to have all the answers already?

    I don't, I'm not you.

I believe it's probably 1 so if that's accurate then what we're hoping to achieve on Thu and the following fixture isn't something that comes around often and as such we want to be in the best possible position to get a good result.

That wasn't difficult to follow was it? Now you see why I said it was the most important match of the season?
