It was the energy Hayes gave us on the pitch that made him a player. Charging up the pitch in attack one minute, back up the other end clearing danger the next.

If we can get Morris anywhere near the level of Hayes, we'll be doing ok.

Never been much of a player myself, but surely crossing can be improved with practice?
Have to say in no way was I meaning that Hayes was pish.

The trio of Hayes Rooney and McGinn were superb for us.

Hayes couldn’t cross the ball but he didn’t really need to with his pace and energy,just used to fire the ball into the box and Rooney would usually be in the right place for a tap in.

Morris has a long way to go before he is ever in the same level of Hayes but he seems to be improving.

Probably no more than a squad player once everyone is fit though.
