Maybe we need the money for our next signing and if that means Wiles goes then so be it

A club record fee for us isn’t all that much though considering we are a championship club.

Surely Wiles is not going to Huddersfield on loan ?

I was told on Tuesday that Coventry are sniffing around Wiles. They are cash rich, they sold the Swedish striker for big money and also sold the lad who went to the Blades last week. So their interest may be real and they have the money to pay a decent fee

Whatever they offer I'd take it - we should have taken 4 million from Burnley last season but I'd take 400,000 from Coventry now - we're always a weaker team with Wilesy in it so I'd be happy if he left for free TBH - he's got great abilities but we don't know how to use him, he's never suited any style that we play. Thanks for a few great memories but in terms of overall contribution he's a long way behind every other midfielder in the club....

I can't believe Warne would sign him anyway. He's been injured for half his entire life it seems to me, he's never fit. That said, Derby have three strikers in Washington, Waghorn and James Collins, three similar players in my mind so somebody like Kelly would provide a different option for them up top. I don't think Kelly is the answer though.

GK is the best striker we've got but then we left our best right back go to Peterboro on loan, we lost the best player in the club on a free to Luton and we have a clueless manager who prefers donkeys up front like Hugill & Eaves
We've got probably the best midfield we've had in the championship - especially if Wilesy goes - and a decent back 4/5 and great 'keeper but Georgie is the only quality up front & our idiot manager doesn't know how to use him - I fancy us to get something against Leicester but after 7 decades of watching, I'll probably skip this season if Taylor can't get over his obsession with playing a carthorse at centre forward.... I've seen enough - Taylor out
If GK did go to Derby, I'd go & watch there instead.....

Kelly last season 875 minutes 4 goals. Approx 1 goal every 1.5 games.
Muskwe last season 1124 minutes 3 goals approx 1 goal every 4 games
Eaves. 630 minutes. 0 goals. Approx 1 goal every 3 years

Muskwe is a Matt Taylor kind of centre forward - can't play, doesn't score - I'd be surprised if he's not in the building already....
