Can you name a similar player to BW (age, experience, injury history, contract length remaining) that has recently been sold by one Championship club to another (or to the Premiership)? How much did he go for?

I would absolutely love Ben to succeed, ideally with us. But the fact is, his contribution was poor for the entirety of last season. I know he picked up the ankle injury but the only good thing I remember him doing last season was scoring against the Blades.

Right now, this season, he must be down the pecking order in midfield, whether that's a fitness thing or what, I don't know. He just doesn't influence games like we need him to. He's a capable player on his day but it isn't enough. Any bid over 1 mil and I think we take it.

If BW was at Posh and they were where we are, imagine how much they'd get for him

Agree 1 mil minimum bid take it will go along way to fund us getting a better forward than some of the names I've heard mentioned in the last few days.

Scott Twine from MK Dons (League 1) to Burnley in 2022 for £2.1 Million up front then add ons. Ironically same age as Wiles at 24. So a league 1 club gets £2.1 mill + add ons while we are looking to receive ??? for a current CHAMPIONSHIP player.

They will get what people will pay, can’t see Huddersfield forking out more than 750,000 tops, we have to sell now because he has sat on the fence long enough !

I get your point Brin but from what I've seen he's better than BW. I'm sure there were people on here who said we should tell Burnley to F off with their 4M (if it ever really existed) because BW was worth more . Moot point anyway as it's probably OR we're selling.

Wiles is nowhere near as good as Twine. He had some good games under Warne but I don’t get the hype. One thing bullying league one players but championship is different.
Ego bigger than his output imo.
