A bald bloke in Jersey sat in his beachfront mansion stroking a white cat and watching a disappointing member of his cleaning staff being eaten by his pet shark whilst contemplating his next move.

Only skim read the article but you'd think someone as intelligent as Kieran McGuire would know the difference between cryptocurrency and blockchain.

Well, I had to look that one up! 😁 Basically crypto is "virtual" digital money and blockchain the technology behind it? Because of this, they are pretty inter-twined, it's just that whilst the technology just "is" (neither good or bad) the various users of it to support various crypto currencies now have negative associations to scams and money laundering. Have I got that right? Think I preferred the old days of cash and even lsd-at least I understood that!

When you think about it isn’t it symptomatic of today’s world where you can just think something into reality?

The world was a better place when an entity actually had to exist in physical form, especially currency.

Remember the days when you were able to collect football coins, Texaco were my favourite?

Trying to pass them off as legal tender to the old dear in the sweet shop and her having your b o l l o x for trying it on! 🤣

These days you just tell the shopkeeper you’ll send them 20 Zoggs and they nod approvingly do as not to make themselves look stupid.

    The world has gone mad.
