Well done Matty Taylor.Sam seems just the player we need up front, with his pace and power. The big advantage is with MT knowing all about him is that he knows exactly how to play him.Welcome to the NYS Sam.

A 4 year deal.......is that the first in the club's history? Along with the Tiehi deal I think the club are fed up of players running down contracts and buggering off for nowt and when we do sell,we invariably find ourselves scrapping around for 'loose change' transfer fees by today's standards. I think they want to enter the 'big league' when it comes to speculating to accumulate. I hope they both work out,not just to keep us in the Championship but to ultimately bring a huge return on the investment.

Plus doesn't it also "spread" the spend (£1m +) over the 4 years (so £250k+ a year) for FFP purposes ?

Has it been confirmed we spent a million?

A good signing in my book. We need young players and need to move the cart- horses on

Considering Barnsley's bid was in excess of £1million with add ons, I'd say we've done that considering we out bid them.
