The Social Security Scotland office in Site 6 should be sending people who are unemployed and claiming benefits to Dundee City Council to fill some of these jobs.

I have first hand experience of Argyll and Bute Council whose bosses are hopeless but nothing is done about it.

Maybe there's a skills shortage? You can't just send an unemployed person to an organisation and expect them to do a proper job. Maybe the job you worked at can be easily done by any Tom, Dick, Harry or thieving ******* off the street but industry would grind to a halt if the wrong people were forced into jobs they neither wanted nor were capable of.

For the record (your records) I've had significant salary increases in the last two years so not sure our ideas of 'recently' will quite match
