Couple of things that are not usual at NYS that happened yesterday.

Dexters goal being so good that the replay was cheered a second and third time.

    Standing ovation at half time.

Apart from not giving any fouls against Hugill, a half decent referee.

The clown behind me doesn’t moan about Ben Wiles anymore.

Not the best game to come on for his debut really but the sensible will give him time

Couldn't”t really fault any starting player.but couple deserve a bit more of a mention.Blackett was superb and a faultless display.jut went about his job in quiet but effective way.and extra praise for bramall, probably being targeted some what over last few weeks and had his moments yesterday too,but stuck his task and showed fighting spirit when he got that knock to stop on the pitch and actually I thought he played better from then on,also he knows the new lad from villlla will be available next game too..

A few moot points,we are still short of bodies and people that can come on and effect the game,so hopefully some injuries clear in the break because the midfield lads were blowing out their arse and we couldn t ale a change in the middle of park..

And how Ashley barnes never got booked I will never know,I counted at least 10 infringements he was involved in and then even going towards ref at end and never got a talking too or booked..

We got what we deserved for a change, Dexter, best right back since Tavs,I actually think he will be better.
That 11 will keep us in this league, with the likes of Nombe,Kelly, Lindsay, Ferguson, Oddofin, and Hall to come in,we should be OK.
We need an attacking threat from the bench, hopefully Oppia will provide that, otherwise we will need someone in January.
    Great day, well done lads.

Seb wouldn't allowed here just to sit on the bench like Nombe expect them both to be starting games soon.

Probably helped us that Josh Sargeant was unavailable but then again if we had all our injured players available me might have gone on to win 3-1 4-1 towards the end
We certainly had chances to do that by catching them on the counter attack

I thought the ref gave some strange decisions, or non decisions in some cases, but at least he gave them both ways, so at least he was fair. Fortunately for Rathbone his rash tackle that on most other days gets him a second booking, actually fell for them to play an advantage and gave the ref some breathing space to think, because had the advantage not been on then I'm pretty sure that was a second yellow and us down to 10 men with half an hour still to play, fine lines and maybe a different discussion on here, but we were more than due a bit of luck after what's happened with us in recent games.
I cant put anything else that hasnt been said already, quality first half and dug in second half for a very welcome and deserved win. UTM

What a fantastic feeling that was coming out of the NYS after seeing what our players had served up,ninety minutes of pure exciting entertainment.Across the park we looked good and for the first time in a long while we are playing with confidence that we have the ability to go toe to toe with anybody in this division. There were so many positives to take out of the game. Our back line was solid,a midfield that is as good as we've ever had and us exploiting the wings with good effect.Up front our loan striker worked his socks off.You could see the sheer delight on the players' faces when the final whistle was blown.that was three points thoroughly deserved.Let's get some away points chalked up in our next match against Hudders.

Read a few articles since game finished, and not one ounce of credit given to us from the opposition ,makes it even better in a funny sort of way ,hopefully teams are going to have to take us seriously in the future.
