A number of times they hit us on the break with pace.If we had a lot more movement up front we would be much more of a threat.Hugill is so slow nad we have been crying out for much more mobile attacker. The reason Ogbene was very useful to us, was the fact he was a danger to the opposition with his pace, power and directness. Our midfield have no options to use the ball if we do not have quick players who can collect that pass. When Eaves came on that just weakened us even more and that header should have been in the back of the net from the Clucas cross .That was a free header and he fluffed it.We were mugged by Warnock and beaten by a poor team because we did not turn up.We are much much better than that but until we get that pace up front we will struggle.Come on Matty sort it out.

I listened to the Huddersfield commentary on iFollow because Les Payne's monotone delivery was driving me to distraction. Not only was it excellent commentary, they were also very complementary about the quality in the RUFC squad and the type of football that MT was trying to play. They did, however, acknowledge that it was a work in progress and that there was much to do!

I didn't go yesterday so can't offer any comments on the performance.
I have to say that the comments and differences of opinions from people who did see the game are both depressing and concerning.
There is also something of groundhog day about them which is not really surprising because we are hopeless away from home and the manager seems devoid of ideas about how to address the problem and that is particularly worrying.
There are a lot of suggestions about who should partner Hugill up front. How about putting him on the bench and starting with the million pound boy up front with someone like Green alongside him?
Maybe then we would see more pace and movement in attack instead of the incessant lumping it up to Hugill in the hope that he wins a few flick ons to nobody in particular.

I agree about Hugil, he is only interested in the fighting, we saw it yesterday when he ran 30 yards just to nip the defender like a spoilt child in a school yard, the defender was gobsmacked and Warnock rightly had a go at MT. The ref had to take them both to one side and made it clear, once more and you could go off. He really needs to stop the constant fouling, falling over and moaning, I can see why he has had a lot of clubs. It is also a worry that MT constantly sings his praises, if that is what he wants from a forward then we will be in a lot of trouble, mixing it up is all well and good but where is the end product. The lad Harrop for huddersfield was an example of a battling forward with a bit of brains as well, the 2nd goal came from him chasing a lost cause out wide and just making our defenders having to work by pushing a ball over the top.

Millwall about to KO on a Sunday vs Leeds
Hopefully they will be mentally and physically drained for Tuesday

If we don't want Hugill to spend the whole game fighting we should try playing football and using him as a link that way. Like against Norwich, that went pretty well. If practically all his 'service' is aerial duels then how is he supposed to showcase any other facet of his play? And what he did win there was next to nobody there for the knock downs. Didn't get Fred into the game at all, Green a shred more but still nowhere near enough.

4-5-1 now till we get some points on the board. Nombe or Hugill up front. Clucas can support lone forward.
