Im not seeing/understanding how Glass, Watt and Middleton are included in the same argument for how things didnt work, and im only talking of Morton as i didnt see the Dunfermline game. While i dont think Declan had his best game yesterday, i cannot fault his effort. Watt on the other hand had lots of nice flicks and touches, usually to a Morton Player, so for me its not that the 3 together are an issue, but its one individual that is letting the whole team down.
At the end of the day though, it as a defensive mistake, followed by a sending off that has to be overturned that have undone us.

not much in it but he did hit him
I read your post a few times, and have again since and I did mention i couldnt see/understand the point in grouping them together. I dont think that has anything to do with not seeing the Dunfermline game as i have seen other games where i consider that T Watts contribution has been consistently poor which i see as relevant.
Im maybe hanging on to Glass with...... and mis-understanding what you are saying, but the way i see it, our whole team is being held back by the insistence that one person is getting game time where he is not producing the goods.
To take things further, maybe we are not considering the injuries to what appears to be very important players in our team. For me, Doc and Sibbald are first choices on the sheet when fit, but Tilson has come in and done well. Add in Watt and Glass and who are we playing together from that lot? Kai has also been injured, but is he gonna displace Middleton? On yesterdays showing, Cudjoe was out of sorts before being cheated out the game so its Kai and Middleton in next week, no matter if we successfully appeal.
So, in a nutshell, i dont see it as Glass cannot be in the same team as Watt AND Middleton, i see it that Watt cannot be part of the team if he is not producing the goods.
I think that the Morton lad pushes his head into Cudjoe to try and make out that there is contact. There tactics seemed to be to grapple and wrestle the united boys but to throw themselves to the ground at any given opportunity. We got ourselves involved in their dirty tactics when we should have just played faster and harder. The refs inability to control the game led to our lads getting frustrated. Hopefully the manager and players will have learnt a valuable lesson yesterday as I think that a few teams will deploy these tactics.
Looks to me like the guy is just getting straight to his feet? At no point do I see him move towards Cudjoe. He stops mid movement to gain his balance, then continues to try and get up. That's when Cudjoe sticks the roundhouse slap in the chops on him. Dramatic as f*ck by the Morton lad, yes. Daft as f*ck by Cudjoe, also yes.
Actually suprised the Morton player didn't suffer whiplash with his overreaction, he was like Willem Defoe when he gets shot in platoon. Embarrassing, but that's where the game is these days sadly.
