Hilton then at the last minute tried to change the deal, which is why Swann was threatening to kick them out. After that some of their fans started to have doubts about Hilton, and began to question his motives. He then proceeded to make several fake accounts on Twitter and Facebook (sound familiar) abusing S****horpe fans.
I absolutely can’t stand Hardy but even I can’t go that far. Tbf he had some funds and wanted to progress Notts, my annoyance was his naivety, ego and more recently seeing on Twitter his know it all attitude on anything football .

This guy appears to be different gravy. It’s not very clear he had any money at all, my gut says he had more sinister reasons for taking them over and on the whole comes across as an awful individual.

I really hope someone steps in to save the club, it's always the fans that suffer in these situations, and losing another club benefits nobody.

Also, further evidence that the fit and proper tests need an overhaul...

    I agree with this.

Hardy tried and failed badly (ego was his biggest problem imo), but now over 4 years later I think we are in a better place than when he took over. Can't imagine where Scunny might be in 4 years time. Feel really sorry for their fans though - they deserve better.

How did he (not Hardy) get past the test for owners of clubs in the NL?

    Is it spreading?

If they sacked the manager then I expect LW will be linked, but anybody would be out of their mind to go there now unless they're getting paid a fortune with a water tight contract.

I think he needs to work on his marketing strategy.
Hilton's comments probably apply to about 90% of football clubs!

Scunny's go fund me page is doing well. Nearly £18,000 to pay staff since it was set up this morning. Makes you appreciate our Lifeline.

Obviously a bad situation all round but what about Cal Roberts?

Can't imagine a club with no money to pay wages or rehabilitation is a good place to be long term injured.
