The Dee4life Chairman in his latest update mentions the letter signed ‘Dundee Football Club Ltd’ in reply to the Dee4life board of directors nomination of Kenny Valentine as their Primary Representative.
However the update does not contain the following very important information.
The last paragraph in the letter begins “Now it is your intention to force a Society member on the DFC board in a hostile manner, and as such we will treat such a request in accordance with the Articles of Incorporation (sic) and the regulatory framework of our governing bodies”.
American companies have Articles of Incorporation while U.K. companies including Dundee Football Club Limited have Articles of Association.
The above sentence should only contain the word ‘and’ once which should have resulted in two separate sentences.
At the Dee4life board of directors meeting on Tuesday 13th December 2022 most of the directors were more interested in trying to get a ‘face to face’ meeting with John Nelms about the future of Dens Park than replying to the ‘Dundee Football Club Ltd letter asking them to contact the governing bodies of Scottish Football regarding Kenny Valentine joining the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors as the Dee4life Primary Representative.
I wanted the Dee4life Board of Directors to reply to the Letter asking John Nelms as the Dundee Football Club Limited managing director to contact the Governing Bodies of Scottish Football to agree to Kenny Valentine’s appointment as a Dundee Football Club Director but my pleas fell on stony ground.
Incidentally the minutes of the Dee4life board of directors meeting held on Tuesday 13th December 2022 which also contained other important information have never been posted in the Members section of the new Dee4life website.
