As an aside do you remember him bleating about there only being one entry and egress, via Kingsway, despite the plans clearly showing an additional entry / egress at Coupar Angus Road? Islay was then firstly invited and then formally elected onto the Dee4life board, a truly astonishing decision by all concerned.

Is it any wonder the club sees Dee4Life as hostile when they freely welcome aboard someone so strongly opposed to their proposed plans? And now it turns out he wasn't the only Dee4Life board member willing to raise barriers. Honestly couldn't make it up. The whole issue surrounding the club noting Dee4Life board members objecting to its plans needs discussed and Islay is a very large part of that discussion.

Islay is now gone from the board, whoever this mystery board member is also needs to resign or be forced out if that's not already done. Dee4Life members also need to know the identity of this person so that we know to object to any proposed re-election of the individual - it's not up to Islay to spill the info, it needs to come from the current Dee4Life board.
The original plans showed only one entrance and exit road using the existing access and exit road for the former NCR Camperdown factory.
It was only when Transport Scotland refused to allow vehicles to exit the stadium car parks onto the slip road from the A90 Kingsway to the Camperdown roundabout that a new exit road had to be found.
That is why the exit road via Dayton Drive has been included in the latest plans for the Campy Nou development. One road from the A 90 Kingsway into the stadium car parks and a separate exit road from the stadium car parks leading to the mini roundabout at the foot of Faraday Street which is also known as Timex Brae on the Coupar Angus road.

You unhappy with possible legal action and MSP involvement?

Can you now see Linda will never give D4l what they want, they may have to now fight for it.

    What's your thoughts?
Think Dee4life have played with a straight bat to use a cricket analogy. Yes I am still a member and I think the Dee4life board have tried their jaw jaw policy and demonstrated that it has run its race. Very disappointed that the topics have been a bit hostile to Dee4life as it seems to me they have tried their best.
Think they need a new approach and I am not sure that legal threats and getting MSPs involved is a sensible way to proceed. Maybe there is merit in trying to help DFC get their planning permission, which will need support from both local councillors and if it gets referred to Holyrood, MSPs. Who knows, perhaps there might be merit in explaining why they think their statement will help DFC.
Maybe their statement has made DFC reassess their approach.
More concerned about Dens not being sold to DFC, and somehow there is an exit strategy that we do not understand.

Difficult to play with a straight bat when Linda and the sycophants are bowling googlies.

A considerable number tried to tell them that and they have wasted a helluva lot of time.

I am now almost certain we will become homeless, whether very temporarily, longer term or permanently is yet to be seen.

I don not think the yanks will respect the A shares.

As far as being homeless us concerned, why would that be in our owners best financial interests? Genuine question.

The Dee4life members should have been given the details of the Letter Signed ‘Dundee Football Club Ltd’ shortly after the Dee4life board of directors received it instead of hiding it hoping that they would get their Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors under Rules 79-82 of the DFC Ltd Articles of Association (not Articles of Incorporation which were stated in the Letter).
I wanted to tell the Dee4life members what had happened but I was outvoted.
This is the main reason why I resigned as a Dee4life Director on Friday 20th January 2023.
I was elected to represent the Dee4life members and not to hide important information from them.

The yanks are currently not respecting the entrenched rights of A shares by ensuring that Dundee Football Club Limited do not have debts in excess of £50,000 at the end of their financial year ending 31st May annually. The last time I looked at the DFC Ltd annual accounts of the Companies House website Dundee Football Club Limited had debts of around £2.8 million pounds.
They will not accept the Dee4life board of directors nomination of Kenny Valentine as their Primary representative.
Dee4life as also entitled to their Secondary representative on the DFC Ltd board of directors which used to be Bob Hynd until he resigned as a Dee4life director at the end of June 2020.

I think it's irrelevant to them as far as DFC are concerned.......renting from Bennett to renting from dabs, st j, Arbroath is inconsequential to them........it isn't to us.

So many promises not kept and now we cud very well be homeless soon.

Exactly what shaded and others warned about.

I enclose the DFC Ltd annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2022 which are available to be read in the Club section of the Dundee Football Club website. https://dundeefc.co.uk/wp-content/up...2023-05-29.pdf
Item 14 in the notes to the accounts lists outstanding loans of £1,992,431 payable to FPS and £365,122 payable to DBPH.
This equates to outstanding loans totalling £2,357,553 which is somewhat in excess of the maximum £50,000 in loans stated in the entrenched rights of the A shares.

I do not think that we will soon be homeless as a year ago rumours were sweeping Dundee that John Nelms had purchased Dens Park from Sandeman Properties Limited.
I believe that this is another case of delaying tactics by John Nelms to avoid submitting Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited’s full planning application to Dundee City Council for their new stadium development at the former NCR Camperdown grounds.
This time last year Nelms stated that their planning application would be submitted to Dundee City Council by the end of March but he did not state which year.
In April 2023 he stated that the traffic information from 2017 was now out of date and it would have to be recalculated result in a delay of a couple of months.
Now almost six months later we have not heard a cheep about the planning application for the new stadium development in the former NCR Camperdown grounds until the article in the Courier last week which almost coincided with the first anniversary of the second pre application meeting held in the Landmark Hotel on Monday 26th September 2022.
