Our third goal yesterday was a nice team goal with Watt finishing a 21 pass move with every United player involved. Patient but moving the ball quick and a nice ball from Docherty to open play up for Middleton to put a great ball. Goodwin will be happy with that one.

Have to debate Watt and Middleton before every game 😂 , seriously though both contributed today big time , hopefully Watt getting of the mark will do him good , he even looked relieved, much better from Middleton as well with some decent deliveries. First half hour we were woeful yet weirdly could still have a a couple of goals , then started play about 15 yards further forward and looked a lot better, comfortable win in the end . Lastly , remembering the Cudjoe sending off , how was that challenge on Grimshaw not a red card ????

Totally agree it should have been a straight red.

If it had been the other way round it would have been.

A good performance all round, a bit sad we didnt go for the jugular and put 8 past them, goals will count this season in the tally.

Watt and Middleton played better but still lack greatly in my opinion. I am surprised Middleton was given as much room. He hasnt got the speed to skin a man so depends on positioning etc when he crosses (and often they get into the box), so was surprised when they only put 1 player on him. He wont get such space normally so has to get some weight off and skin his man.

Watt will hopefully feed from the confidence now.

Raith will be a different challenge so lets go for it.

I think Moult has cut a lonely figure up top for us this season and we haven't given our wide men much to aim at. At our final goal on Saturday, we had loaded the box with players who were all trying to get on the score sheet. I would like to see this happening more often once Moult is back. The players should be busting a nut to try and score. It often feels like we have just up with the "Just get it to louie" mindset. Our attacking players, along with Moult, should be terrorising defences. Hopefully the entire frontline take a massive boost from this game and get stuck in against Raith.

I agree. Hopefully something clicked with Middleton and that's him looking to keep that kind of performance up. Even if he can't beat his man he can dig out a cross from behind him. Hopefully he believes in himself more now. Watt should be adding goals from the deeper role too, just gamble and get crosses in to Moult and Watt.

Agree Weegie , have said already I would like to see Watt playing closer to Moult , maybe in the position Motherwell played him

Agree wholeheartedly, his first came from not being in the lead position but slightly off it and arriving just at the right time to finish, more of this, less of the hitting the deck and that'll do nicely
