1st live game of the season for me thanks to ifollow. Thought Notts played some of the best football in the 1st half I have seen from any Notts side against a good opponent. Swindon powered back 2nd half and had that lad not headed wide when he should have scored my fears that this could end up 3-3 might have been justified. The game sped by which showed how entertaining it was and credit to Notts for not capitulating when the pressure was applied.

We were brilliant again tonight. I think this is now the 37th season I've watched Notts play and - although we've been higher up the pyramid in that time - genuinely the entertainment on the pitch has never been better.

As others have said, what a great time to be a Notts fan!

Brilliant first half, we completely dominated a good team. Second half was very different, we defended well but showed very little attacking intent. I don't think there's a team in the division that could live with the first half Notts, but we need to avoid a repeat of the second half Notts.

One of the best displays first half from Notts this season we played some great stuff and could easily have led 5-0 at the break. But the same as the FGR game at the start of the second half we seemed sluggish and they pulled one back. I thought Nemane had a brilliant first half but faded in the second and Jones also struggled a bit after the break. They had a great chance to score a second with a similar move to their first but the forward headed the ball down and over. But generally we battled and kept them at bay.
    Fortress Meadow Lane.

To be fair, there’s no way we could’ve maintained the intensity and pace we played at in the first half for 90 minutes.
