Definitely not, but the difference was stark.

Still a really good 3 points against a team who I think will be near the top.

I would say that’s harsh, excellent first half but we couldn’t keep that pace up for the 90 minutes plus they were a good side who came out for the second half with nothing to lose and probably a rollicking still ringing in the ears,in the first 10-15 minutes they were playing with 5 up front at times which is difficult for us to keep our shape
We had one or two wobbly moments 2nd half but defended reasonably well and boy did we show character the number of blocks we got in - especially glad for Baldwin and Stone who took stick during the game from people around me and it was Cameron’s best game of the season

I thought Nemane had a brilliant first half but faded in the second and Jones also struggled a bit after the break. They had a great chance to score a second with a similar move to their first but the forward headed the ball down and over. But generally we battled and kept them at bay.
    Fortress Meadow Lane.
I don’t think we were sluggish just think they came out more determined and threw caution to the wind and pushed people forward willy nilly
It was actually the left sided centre back who missed the chance heading over the bar, this was in open play and very difficult for us to keep our shape and get into any rhythm

Definitely felt like we were reluctant to commit many men on the counter in the second half despite how wide open they were leaving themselves, but probably a result of the chaos that the last two games have descended into. The second half wasn't particularly pretty, but after the first 10 mins or so I felt like we managed it pretty well.

Just a fantastic first half performance, one of the best I’ve seen in years from a Notts side. The second was a bit hairy, looked to be going all Forest Green Rovers again, but thankfully they didn’t manage a second goal. A tad disappointed we didn’t carry more of an attacking threat with them throwing so many players forward. As others have said, Captain Cameron was excellent.

Williams and the team deserve all the plaudits coming their way, let’s hope we can keep it up at glamorous Barrow.

That was the best first half of football for some time. The second half we did what we had to, and got the job done... A massive 3 points..

There was no need for us to push players forward in the second half, leaving ourselves open to swift counter attacks. Great to see players throwing themselves in front of the ball, mainly Cameron, as if their lives depended on it. To concede only one against a side that had scored 26 in their previous 9 matches, will be a massive confidence boost.

Just a comment on Aiden Stone, does anyone think he looks very bulky, and so lacking some athleticism. I thought he should have been able to claim the cross for their goal, maybe wrong though.

He doesn't really command the goal area.

seems the Swindon fans were not happy with the referee and his decisions , especially our penalty given and the one they were denied at 0-0

Streamed the match from a plane. First time for everything. Felt we were much more defensively solid second half than I remember, but that first half was delicious. Missed their penalty shout though. Also NCM was inexplicably blocked.
