The eejits on SKY said Amdouni had his header saved by the flying Belgian 'keeper, only thing wrong it was Al-Dakhil who got his napper on it and not Amdouni.

Lovely pass out from the back by Al-Dakhil to Berge who slipped it into Foster's path and the South African rolled it into the net.

Three passes = goal. If United had scored that goal we would still be hearing about it now.

No-one likes us but we don't care.

I'll have to have another look, I've seen that header a few times now and I can't make my mind up whether it was Amdouni or Al-Dakhil who got their noggin on the ball, it's hard to tell.

Having had time to think about it, I'm even more delighted with that performance and result, Berge was head and shoulders better than anyone they had, Foster, Amdouni and Koleosho were a right handful for them, although Koleosho seems much more effective on the left to me. Trafford again wasn't much more than a spectator and we have so much talent sitting on the bench, the only concern was the corners, where Luton just lumped them in and got free headers, every time. This is a young team though, Comms said it was the youngest starting eleven in the PL, we can only get better. I am a happy bunny today, I always thought we'd be fine against the weaker PL teams, and so it's proving.

Completely with that Sinkov and we may improve again for a positive result , I do worry though at our inadequacies with high balls and headers - the problem we have as a post yesterday I think is once teams see a weak spot they will exploit it and in fairness we we’re lucky last night with a few.
The point being if weaker teams can get chances the others will get more and we all know what that means.
I do think when it happens for Amdouni ( maybe some boots that let him stay on his feet as well ) we could have a really good double act up
Top - my concern is centrally pace wise and our reluctance to stop balls being delivered into our box.

Amdouni took quite a kicking last night, especially early on, they didn't like him running at them, and going past them, and they weren't for allowing it to happen. I really like the look of Amdouni, he's a defender's nightmare, like you say army, give him and Foster a few more games together and we could have another Vokesy/Ingsy up front.

The high balls into the heart of our defence are a worry, even the added height of Berge and Foster made no difference, we just conceded headers for fun. One thing in our favour, at this level, Luton and Sheff U apart perhaps, teams are reluctant to just lump the ball into the box, apart from corners of course, they prefer to knock the ball around, probing for openings, so maybe we'll get away with it. It's surprising that given Vinni was such a dominant CB, he tolerates such a glaring weakness at the heart of his defence.

Just had the video on it was Amdouni. OMG don't let me loose at Stockley Park!

Plus it was Cullen who found Berge who found Foster but it was Al-Dakhil who started the play.

    I've just rung Specsavers.
