Only thing I can think of is for corruption and cheating purposes.. its a system that takes away quite a bit human error of drawing lines etc.. I think this Liverpool debacle will mean that this may be pushed more to be used in England.. I would welcome it

Premier League rejected it at the request of the PGMOL. They wanted to keep control of the off-side decisions.
