Yes, in there yesterday morning Alfie, it's very nice, service a bit slow, we got free drinks while we were waiting, so happy enough with that. We'll be going again.

Haven't been in the Barrowford one for a while now Alfie. They've improved the Clitheroe store no end this summer, must have spent a lot of money on it. It needed it, it was going downhill and the staff were losing interest, back up to Waitrose/M&S standard again now, Mrs S is well happy.

It's saving us a lot of money mon ami, Booths in Clitheroe had gone so far downhill that Mrs S was insisting on driving over to Waitrose at Walton-le-Dale for the weekly shop, a 35 minute drive away. Now she's happy going just down the road to Booths again, and they've added a cafe, and they do an excellent warm bacon and cheese croissant, what's not to like ?

Get yourself over mon ami, you might get lucky and bump into me or Alfie.

If I could rely on Northern to get me there and back sinkov I might just be tempted but since the Tories have done the square root of F*uck all in 13 years to improve the rail link between Bolton and Clitheroe I'll have to pass. Sad I know but that's what 13 years of Tory "governance" had done for the Northern hoi polloi.

The Tories don't run the railways mon ami, Northern run the Manchester-Clitheroe line, they were privatised years ago. John Two Jags Prescot said Labour would renationalise the railways, but they never did. Another Labour lie.
