If the directors of Dark Blues Property Holdings Limited can afford to purchase Sandeman Properties Limited then surely they can afford to pay for repairing drains underneath the Dens Park pitch.
I remember Scot Gardiner stating that the Club lost revenue when a home game was played on a Sunday compared to a Saturday.
It is likely that there will be an even bigger drop in income if last Saturday’s home game against Ross County is rearranged for a midweek evening kickoff.

I am not fussy who I sit next to at a dinner.
I would even sit next to John Nelms and take the opportunity to bend his ear throughout the evening.

It is interesting to speculate what the difference in support is when you compare Saturday 3pm attendances with those at other times. I suppose the OF games are never on a Saturday so they would boost the attendances at other times. Could be a drop of 750 fans per shifted game, if you think the average price would be more than £15 per fan you are looking at about £11k per game. Might be worthwhile spending money on fixing the drains? Even more incentive if the fault is actually caused by the public sewers and not a cost to the club for getting them fixed.

Drains have been sorted, we were hit badly with rain in this area, surely no one expected the match to be on,
We’d probably had a lower crowd had it been on in they conditions than we will have at rearranged match

You must be the hefty person who was complaining about his trousers being too tight for him. If it was you I suggest that you join a Slimming World class.
There are plenty of them in Dundee and throughout Scotland.

There will probably also be a drop in the number of people in Hospitality which will result in refunds having to be handed out after the Ross County game is played on 24th October 2023.
Supporters having purchased a ticket for a game which is then cancelled cannot claim a refund of their ticket until after the game has been replayed.
This policy by the management of Dundee Football Club inflates the actual attendance announced on the night of the game.

I was due in hospitality on Saturday but can't do midweek so will probably have to take another Saturday date or get refunded. Unless someone else takes the six spaces that will be given up it means that money - nearly £1,000 is lost to the club. I think one of the heftier posters on here was also supposed to be in hospitality on Saturday but is unable to go to the re-arranged game, it all adds up.
