On that showing I would say Munakandaffa deserves a place on the bench. Macari did ok and Tipton after a shaky start grew into the game. Adebayo was pretty toothless and Nemane odd patches but not that effective. Great to see Sam have a good game. Great also to see Morias get off the mark although I struggle to see how he is going to forge much of a career at Notts.

Agree with all that and what Thordar said about Macari. We acquitted ourselves pretty well overall
Hate the competition but it's a pity we may be running out of opportunities to look at Jr, the loanees, Luther, Gill etc.

Gill is one of our young professionals after being an apprentice he is 18-19
A Notts reserve-ish side beaten by a better team. Not a lot to say actually, thought Derby looked a good side. It showed that Sloco is a better keeper than Stone if nowt else. We put a few decent balls in the box all the way through the match so I would have like to have seen Didtz play central, (1st half at least), might have profited from them a little bit more.

So a 3-0 win against Lincoln will see us through?

Any sort of win for Notts will see us progress *if* Derby beat Wolves ACA at Pride Park on the same night.

Lincoln and Notts both on 2 goals for, so if we won 1-0 we'd both have -1 GD and 3 pts but Notts would have an additional goal.

Only if Derby beat Wolves, in which case 2-0 would be enough.

If we had a bigger squad, we could send Morias out on loan for a month or two to get match fit - but we don’t have that luxury.

Morias was purchased as being similar to Langstaff probably in case he left
He presses from the front, works really hard and has a shot on him.
Unfortunately him not playing the last 3rd of last season and missing most of pre-season with injury has left him lacking fitness,I thought he looked quite heavy when he came on v Swindon
Thought he did okay tonight but with him being a small guy leaves him quite isolated He definitely needs a run of games to get his sharpness ,unfortunately it’s not going to happen
Munakandaffa did ok and looked dangerous but places on the bench are precious so we will see come Saturday - if Jones plays and probably Nemane for TAR
Bench - Slocombe,Austin,OBrien,Rawlinson,TAR,Morias and Tipton probably
