The difference between winning and losing at this level of sport can and does break your heart .

Tough one to take for the Irish but tha can't beat having that experience and know how at the highest level and The All Blacks proved that tonight .

    That was the difference .

Ireland have never won a quarter final , The All Blacks have lost only one , ever .

They can criticise England all they want for our style of play and lack of flair but we play these games every four years and win them .

We'd have kicked the goals tonight and not gone for touch as Ireland did .

Probably 9 points gone begging for Ireland tonight .

Those 9 points or even 6 sees them home and dry .

    The morning after !

Am in Bangkok and watched both games which meant was 4am in the morning before I hit the sack. I went for wins for both Wales and Ireland so that's me done!

As they say we go again...in the airport now, waiting for a flight down to Jakarta and meeting up with some old p**s ed mates in my Jakarta local for the England game, not sure what state I will be in this time tomorrow.

Who cares it doesn't matter..... does it!!

    Happy days!

England doing what we do best , do the shyty stuff better than the opposition and force the errors .

Same in the second half and we should be ok .

Why is it no matter what sport we compete at whether it be football , cricket Rugby or even tiddlywinks we always make it hard for ourselves and have to endure drama ?

Just about deserved it , just .

Well, the Fijian lads made a heck of a game of it 2nd aif. Fair play to em. England were impressive too, showed composure in the last 10 mins and deserved our win.

The England lads will take confidence from this but I'm afraid it may be the end of the road in the semis because we aren't as good as the French or the Springboks.

Credit the Figians fo that. They knew what was required with 20 mins to go and they gave it everything. The converted try that they scored to draw the game level was top class.

Wow what a first half that was in Paris , just when you think the standard can't get any higher than last night along come France and The Springboks .

Think it might be a bit of a struggle next Saturday night against one of these two , to say the least .

    Incredible contest tonight
The irresistible force meets the immovable object
The french are special but you’ve got to give it to those springboks, they will not let go of that trophy
I fear for us next Saturday but 3 of the 4 quarterfinals went against the bookies odds
    So you never know
All 4 quarterfinals were great watches this weekend
