Unless he can play the ball on the floor short then he’s a great chance of staying with us.

I’ve been constantly said that he made the right move signing and being a number one than him taking a chance with a bigger club and not being able to get into their first team.

We’ll have to change our style to see if he’s good enough.

I wonder if it's anything to do with that.

Jock Quairney one of the best I remember, used to catch the ball rather than punching most of the time. had a great leap and would catch high balls into his chest and those were the days when goalkeepers didn't enjoy the same protection as nowadays.

Thanks Wilts, this takes me back 50 years - I'm pretty sure that I heard those very same words about Quairney - along with hyperbole about how opposing strikers would turn, shoot, think that they'd scored but not only see Jock make the save but actually catch the ball.....
