You might get the odd one or two here and there but so what? People talking complete and utter bollox and posting ridiculous things on social media is commonplace whatever the club. See it for what it is rather than getting upset about it.

Quite possibly. The current owners will be numb to it, they will know exactly how LW is performing in regards to the budget/players he’s been given against what other clubs have, his performance will mainly be reviewed by data.
The fact we’re even discussing it for me is ridiculous, he shouldn’t be beyond criticism but the improvement we saw last season is enough to tell me this guy knows what he’s doing on the whole but not every decision / game he will get right, that’s football.

    This^^^

Something I don't understand either, why some fans get so upset over other fans criticism. It's social media, it's a message board FGS...........Peeps have a wide variety of opinions, so what?

Well first of all hopefully we win the next 3 games and secondly hopefully the brothers would keep LW at least until the end of the season

said at the start of the season that I would midtable and consolidation in this league. We will games and lose some but that is part of the learning curve in so far as upgrading the players is concerned.

It does seem very fickle to me especially where we have been for the last 4 years and worries me that another few defeats and there will be chants of Williams out …because it doesn’t look like the achievements of last season and so far this season has bought any credit
When Hardy was constantly changing managers in 2019 was part of it because of what the fans were saying, the same fans that are saying he was an idiot to keep sacking managers - of course this is just my imo and everyone else can have different opinions and of course they might be right 😜
Nobody's calling for LW to go and even a few more defeats wouldn't elicit that view from fans who've been with this club for more than a couple of years. We all know how well he and The Bros are doing overall, but you cannot escape the fact Saurday was abysmal. We as fans are entitled to say that. He might have to defend his players in public, and with such a thin squad probably also has to temper his words in private. He's no mug and I personally hope he's here for many years to come. But, if he is going to be even more successful he will need The Bros support to address areas of clear concern.

    This!

Some people (but actually not that many at all) are hyper critical of players.

Others are hyper protective of players and will find every excuse under the sun for them, including in this case blaming it on the fans.

I can't imagine this poster ever saying something as blunt as 'the players failed', yet the people who pay good money and take time out of their weekend have apparently failed by leaving early after a crap performance and heavy defeat in a derby.

Saturday was crap, we have some concerns about squad depth and teams being able to neutralise our playing out from the back, but things are generally very good, nobody sane of mind is calling for LW to go - just let people discuss the match for God's sake!
