For me the truth is that you were easily the better side and deserved the win.

But it's one game. The league table suggests you're not usually that good and we're not usually that bad. Still a lot left to play for.

No one’s said they didn’t deserve the win Elite, course they did. What I would dispute is how good they had to be to get it. They won’t find many teams serving up the equaliser like we did or being as piss weak at corners.

The evidence is they usually struggle to score goals, even against the poorer teams. (Of which we may still be one, we’ll have to see).

If Chicksen was injured, fair enough, however, playing a back 4 and utilizing one of the loanees might have been a better defensive option than Austin or Nemane. Again, moving forward, l still don't think having only 3 defenders in the team is a good idea.

I've said similar, if they were really that good why are we still above them? I'm hoping it was just a bad day at the office (bloody annoying that we seem to save them for Mansfield), and I'm hoping for a reaction at Gillingham.

Without wishing to sound like sour grapes, I do think people are going a bit overboard in how good Mansfield were. Set pieces good, but we’re terrible at defending set pieces. Before yesterday they’d scored 1 goal in 3 games.

Obviously Gillingham and Newport still to come, but Wrexham arriving in 2 weeks, who personally I’d like to beat more than Mansfield. I’m gonna have nightmares about what Steve Fletcher and the other bloke might do to our defence.

Wrexham are a bit like us score plenty but concede plenty also, 0-0 anyone😜
