Paul Davis has confirmed Hall's latest injury butI haven't seen anything official about Green.
I wish Paul Davis would do a proper interview with MT and ask why we are getting so many injuries, why a lot of them are similar (hamstrings) and are the regular sicknotes really on "pay as you play" contracts.
I won't hold my breath though as these sort of questions would probably upset the hierarchy at the club.

We all thought it was a huge risk signing these injury prone players. Don't think any of us thought it would get this bad after less than 3 months of the season gone.
If we're not cut a drift by Jan,( which I think we will), it will be a funny old window.

Oddofin he's fit will have to play centre back. Blackett saying he could be back sooner than expected but not for another month at least.

Only thing we can hope is come January hopefully the gap to 4th bottom isn’t too big, after last season’s efforts that doesn’t sound very ambitious I know but with a clueless manager and 1 win in 11 it’s the best we can hope for, having said that I wouldn’t trust him with any more budget to get it sorted in January anyway. He’s made his bed so to speak with this centre half debacle it’s his doing

Uttis, I wonder how much or any involvement at all the recruitment team had in all of this shambles?
Not protecting Taylor 100% but, do you think the recruitment was ALL his own doing?

Yep we all had that crystal ball to see the players would be injury prone especially Humphreys

If the players weren’t injured then you saying they are not good enough?

Firstly Ipswich are a very good team with a well balanced squad, coached and managed well. Yes they have money but that has to be used well, remember they had money for a few years now and at the start the manager at the time bought badly, we do very well to take anything from this game and Hirst will be a huge threat like he was at Portsmouth 2 seasons ago. Hirst was badly managed at Rotherham, there was always talent there but we failed to get it out of him.
As for Davis doing proper interviews, don't make me laugh he won't stir up anything because he needs the feeds, so many football journalists rely on good relations to get a story, they wouldn't know how to dig and create a proper story they just act as mouth pieces for whoever pays their bar bill.
If we have lost Hall again that is an enormous blow, there is clearly something wrong in the way we operate the fitness and coaching to have these many injuries, unless MT has broken twenty mirrors it is not just bad luck, there is always a cause. The idea of the international break is to get players fit and use it as a rest period (training that is relevant to recovery and tactics) not risk losing more. I have said it before that the executive need to take this issue away from the management and have an independent review carried out into the way the players are looked after from a fitness perspective, other clubs have done this it is common sense if a critical area of your business is failing to take action and bring in fresh professional eyes. We can sit back and talk about hindsight and bad luck, feeling sorry for ourselves but that will only end one way, questions need to be asked and the club needs to address this issue. Although I don't think signing the players we did helped, that is not the only issue. A difficult situation and one i hope that TS and the executive try to address.
