Great effort by the England lads last night and so close to getting a deserved victory. We couldn't have given any more out there 👏

I thought we didn't stand a chance pre match, neither did the bookies with Springboks 1/5 odds on favourites.

I managed to watch the match last night , the grandkids fell asleep just in time .

Gutted to be honest , as limited as this England side was they were superb in doing what they were good at and really rattled the Bocks .

The tactics and execution were top class , just lost control at the scrum in the last 15 minutes but even then I thought the bocks pushed their luck and played the referee like a good un and got the penalties .

Hope the All Blacks smash em next Saturday .

Yes it was proper gutting pal. However, with our limited ability, as you say, we so nearly pulled off a shock . When as fans, we go into a game being such underdogs, you subconsciously are prepared for a defeat but the heroics and resolute attitude displayed by the England players last night was inspiring and totally consumed me as the contest wore on. I was totally absorbed and transfixed by it and to lose was a real downer.
