Just replayed his interview from pre-season.
He feels he can play all along the back 3. His preference is in the middle.

The Wolves website article when he first came to Notts describes him as "The versatile defender, who can also play in midfield"

He can but is predominantly right footed I especially watched v Derby

Looking back at Durhams' post, with 6 injured, 2 suspended which other 3 young uns can we put on the bench?
With a bit of luck maybe Bostock and Brindley might be fit enough to play some role but if not we are in a bit of trouble.
I know some will suggest that I am being too negative and that everything in the garden is lovely but I think we are on a bit of a tightrope.
3 points against Newport could make a big difference come the end of the season.
So which 3 youngsters should it be?

Gill,Mahova and not sure if Munakandafa will be able to as he’s gone on loan - otherwise hopefully one injured player is fit or we go with 6 subs.
Good chance to start Morias and give him 60 minutes to replace McGoldrick and give either TAR or Nemane a rest

Lucien Mahovo is on loan at Long Eaton United.
So Gill in the squad, that makes just 5 on the bench unless JB or RB recover.

I presume the thinking was that Cameron and McGoldrick wouldn’t/couldn’t play against Newport regardless?

I presume it was more to remove the threat of suspension during the Wrexham/Crewe/Bratfud/Wimbledon run of fixtures.

I have never seen Tipton play so can't comment or judge who should come in in my opinion. Was surprised Macari came on instead of Rawlinson who would be the safer and more expected choice based on team selections this season. But as we know Luke Williams and Ryan Hartley know best and went with the youngster and it paid off. I trust their decisions whoever they select on Tuesday, why wouldn't we?

I know that there many on here who think that it doesn't really matter too much if Notts don't go up this season, but consider the following quote.

They are but we've conceeded most of our goals against the teams that currently sit in the bottom 3.

Please no..let's not play Rawlo at left centre back again, ever.! I'm not having a go at him hes a steady good defender on the right side of defence but has to many limitations on the left side that hampers our style of play.If it means playing young blood there (Tipton) due to lack of numbers , fitness and recovery time then
so be it.if we are going to go lose then let's do it in a progressive style and not putting a square peg in a round hole please.

Rawlo seems ok for 70 minutes then looks knackered. Against Stags I thought he looked like being mom but he could/should have done better with goals 3 and 4. He was marking their defender but lost him for goal 3 and then stood off their winger and allowed the cross for the fourth.
