Has CEO Khaled El Ahmad left the club ?

Unless I've missed it there hasn't been a peep out of Ahmad for some time.

Has he left the club or been put on gardening leave/ working his notice ?

Some comment might have been expected from him, for example, on the coach fire, but nothing.

His last public appearance was at the Fans Engagement Meeting where he gave an arrogant, almost dismissive, reaction to questions. It was as if he was demob happy and just wanted to get the evening done.

It has been reported that he was in for the Hammarby FC CEO job in Sweden but no news has emerged on that as yet.

He may be focussed on the ongoing EFL Investigation into the club.

    Who knows ?

We need a "Where's Khaled ?" book on the lines of "Where's Wally ?" set around Oakwell. An ideal Christmas present which can be ordered via the Reds Superstore but availability by Christmas cannot be guaranteed.

Some good questions there SB however I prefer the " no news good news" theory where everything is ticking over at the good ship Oakwell , we are third in the league despite losing half our side & the manager , these being replaced by allegedly poorer players & a questionable manager so all in all what is happening down there is beyond expectations ,therefore our leader off the pitch may be thinking it is better to take the quieter approach & not risk rocking the boat, who knows !!!

It's an interesting concept Shads--keep the CEO out of communicating with fans on club matters in case he buggers everything up.

i do know what you mean. The Arseoyle Conway was a good example of a CEO interfering too much.

I do think a word of reassurance from the CEO to fans about the coach fire and its aftermath would have been appropriate at the time. Not a word from Ahmad. Maybe a word or two about the supply/ ordering issues with fans over the replica kits ? Both "non-football" so would not interfere with Neill and Jon's work with the Men's Team.

    Summat's not reyt darn theear.

I understand what you are saying and personally I think a club statement certainly should be made regarding the farce with the replica kits etc , it doesn"t require an individual just a statement from the club would suffice , hopefully Khaled has learnt his lesson after the west stand fiasco to which I till have bitter memories but since then I do prefer the current style of management as opposed to the Conway shambles.

The first Statement from the club that it was to be formally investigated by the EFL was 13th July 2023 with informal work done before then.

Three and a half months later they must be near coming to some sort of findings.

A strange lack of comment about anything in recent weeks from the club CEO (if present) and the Directors.

    Summat's not reyt darn theear.

Surely they cannot comment about the EFL investigation until it has been concluded otherwise they may potentially jeopardise the outcome, keep stum is the way forward !!

My post was not meant to say they should be doing a running commentary about the EFL Investigation Shads. Quite correctly that, not being a public inquiry, should run its course behind closed doors until it reports its findings.

It was meant to say none of the hierarchy have communicated anything about anything happening at the club for quite a while, not even an event like the coach fire.

True SB. How did the fire actually start? That's the burning question.
