Ravin added what we have been crying out for all season. Protection for the fullbacks. We saw it with bramhall and Ferguson last season.
I don't agree appiah and Fred were played on the wrong sides and I don't think we can afford to play them both on the same team.
They are both players who want to play going forward and offer nothing in defence. If we want to play Fred play him as a number 10. Don't expect him to track back.
I'm still not seeing anything appiah adds to the team so he wouldn't be in my starting 11.

    Okay apologies.

I can't comment on the Peltier incident but I can comment on Hugill's wind up. He, Hugill, had no chance of advancing so did a cheeky drop to the floor which resulted in us getting a free kick. Their bench was incensed and started firing off a volley of verbals at Hugill so he may well have blew them a kiss and a smile. More was said so Hugill walked away and the 4th official got involved and subsequently one of their backroom staff got a yellow. Well done Jordan.

Peltier stopped to do a celebratory jig in front of their bench.

Hugill was also winding their bench up, blowing them kisses etc
They saw a short, fat, balding bloke and thought it was you. Hugill was letting you know he'll get 10 goals easily this season and Peltier was indicating 2 wins down and just 9 more to go

Excellent game by us after the nail biting 1st half. Don't know what was said by MT at half time, but it certainly worked. Great idea to take Arvin off and put Revan on, it was more protection for Cohen. We looked a little bit more solid after that.

Great game and show piece for the Championship, could have been any score from 6-0, 0-6 or 6-6.....................UTM.

    What a wonderful evening.
Just got back from seeing a marvelous James concert in Nottingham and ( mostly) enjoying reading this thread on the way back.
Sounds a very good 2nd half performance and just hope we can build on it in the next couple of games.
Well within our capabilities I would hope.

Got to sort wide right out to give Dext some cover McGuckin I'd try. Keep with Bramall & Seb on left. At Hillsborough Odoffin with either Peltier or Morrison in central defence. Nombe up front if Hugill needs to recuperate after last night.

Fantastic entertainment last night. First half, the room afforded to their wingbacks was astounding and we were fortunate it didn't lead to several goals for them. Fortunately, Simms and Godden had terrible games otherwise it could have been a different story. MT's changes in the second half closed down Coventry's wide threat and we looked much better balanced - but why weren't the changes made earlier?

That second half was one of the best offensive displays I've seen from us for a long time. 4 or 5 goals wouldn't have flattered us. Ollie's late goal allowed the crowd to relax and savour the last few minutes and what was a crucial win for us.

Six points over the next two games and we're cooking!
