    Right Back

Dexter is obviously a talented lad. But against Coventry and Wednesday there was a yawning gap down our right flank that the opposition fully exploited. Everyone in the ground could see this apart from the two people who matter....Dexter and his manager. Mind the gap.

Maybe it’s the right winger not tracking back and not Dexter ?

Exactly, he didn't get much support.
Bramall sometimes get criticised for the same reason and it's about time the manager saw what keeps happening and did something about it.

Agreed, the full backs are left exposed under Taylor in a way that they never used to be but Dexter is definitely better going forwards then defending
I've heard that Peterboro's captain and RB could be a useful addition for us.....

Let's hope we've got a recall option for January but as Kioso was a Warne signing and as such may be persona non grata, I won't be holding my breath.

I've been spouting this for week.
    Our recent past shows this.
Chio Infront of Harding. Bramhall with Ferguson Infront...
It's not rocket science 442. The wide 2 who will track back. Fkme is it really that hard?

    You're absolutely spot on Caytonmiller. The acres of space in which our full backs are exposed can be plainly seen from the stands. Which leads me to conclude one of the following;
    I. MT can't see it
ii. It's tactical and therefore MT is happy with it
Iii. It's not tactical and the wingers aren't tracking back
Whichever it is, MT needs to sort it sharpish or any team with any nous is going to rip us to shreds.

Got Revan on left. Right? Not Appiah or Fred their game isn't tracking back.

The thing is we don't know what MT is telling them to do. In the first half, on Sunday, the number of times Dexter got drawn in-field, leaving a Wednesday player out wide was unbelievable. I don't know whether it was because of a lack of communication or just a disorganised mess. Either way, irrespective of formation, players just have to do their jobs and play with a degree of intelligence.

Quick point on Dexter. When we signed him, he was practically fresh out of Wolves' academy. This is his first proper crack at professional football. I don't know about anyone else but I never expected a 19yo with hardly any experience to be playing week in week out. To be fair he's done great and has proven to be a real talent. But he's still developing as a player which makes the decision to send Kioso out on loan a really strange one.

It was scandalous the way we defended on Sunday in that first half. Despite having two central defenders with around 900 professional appearances between them, we may as well have had 4 schoolboys at the back.
