So I said last week I still behind Kompany but I’m starting to have my doubts as we do not improve in shape - togetherness- tactics and it is worrying if we carry on that way.

On tonight’s showing Redmond has plenty to offer he’s intelligent and can still cut it , I also still like Larson he has potential ( if you put better players around him I’d bet he’d thrive ).

It would be unfair not to say Berge improved slightly today.

As for Muric I can’t see the logic , the risks he takes distribution wise are poor and his only attempt at catching tonight resulted in missing it completely and they should have scored. ( incidentally we still conceded 3 ).

We are slow and laboured and are missing a captain with some *******s -,we can’t retain possession unless it s backwards then we’re very good at it narrowing play and forcing our keeper into risks.

The whole thing is a fek in shambles if it’s like that Saturday they’ll get booed off.

We are what can only be described as inept
And you wanted shut of "Dycheball"

I’d still stand by that Bt it was boring and has run it’s course - we got done by what Sean’s sides are workmanlike- although we aren’t even competing really there are gaps all over to be exploited- Dyche must have been rubbing his hands two centre backs no experience at this level , young weak and naive.

Calvert lewin took the piss and we simply gifted them what they wanted a goal start , no pressure to stop the cross being delivered, no body marking Tarky - his free header was good but a gift,

When you analyse all that it don’t look good does it ? But then get to the other end and the problems are multiplied by 10 we offered nothing in the way of a threat and yet still had lots of possession.

The stats will read well and VK I’m sure will say well we don’t take our chances we had good possession and a large chunk of the game.

Transition is a problem either way imo anyway I joked on another thread that we only train in half a pitch and there are no goals on it - but reality is it maybe true- the game is to score goals and we simply don’t look like we can do that - it’s laboured and we are slow and give possession away too much.

I’m surprised at Kompany really having forged a brilliant career at this level he knows what’s required and at the minute we are a million miles away from it - we look like we need a leader and also like we can get players to roll sleeves up and support each other - it will have to happen soon or we’ll be down anyway.

I’ve posted before re this problem at Burnley we are simply too Nice - only think is this time around we don’t have the players with the heart to change it - all the flair in world doesn’t get you heart and desire - these bits were lacking imo anyway.

Rolling over and having your tummy tickled were not requisites of playing for Sean Dyche army88. What Kompany is serving up is utter garbage. I'm shocked at just how bad we are.

Tbf - people have short memories, yes it’s not good at the minute because we can’t defend - if you go back to Dyche ers that’s all we could do for 80 mins in a game.

Typically Dyche yesterday tbh we had our fair share of the ball / possession and yet his side got three goals with minimal possession.

I think he watched Basset at Wimbledon when they interviewed him about Wimbledon tactics he answered with a question

He said what happens in the last 10-15 mins of a game if you’re behind and chasing the game. -
Pundit answered push big men up front and lump it is generally what happens

Correct says Bassett but we do it for 90 mins not just the chasing 10 mins if losing - it works he said.
