I'm also not sure he has the skill/quality to duke it out over 90 minutes with Championship defenders.
CAM, correct in that Kelly is not a 90+ minute player but, he deserves a start to partner Hugill if only for at least an hour or so thing is Taylor can't see this.

By Taylor adapting his style and approach to a game, starting with the correct line up.

    How do you know this?

Has he ever had a 90 minute game?

Just my view but to me I think he has an “eye for goal” not measured in km run but just the chance of being in the right place at the right time

Grist, because I've seen him play a few games and being subbed because he couldn't see the game out. He may well have upped his stamina levels and may well be ready for a full 90+ but we'll never know cos Taylor hasn't got the bottle to start him.

But there are more than a couple in our squad that can’t see out 90 minutes

Bramall for example ( who had a good game yesterday) but was blowing through his arse from the 75 minute mark

I think we agree though that Taylor needs to start Kelly and move away from 4-5-1 at home

Deserves a start.preferably alongside Nombe. Bench Hugill and bring him on if this pairing isn't working.

I think Kelly is getting unjustified criticism for his fitness levels. On the rare occasions that he's been called upon to play, it's usually been with about 15 minutes to go when we're either holding on by the skin of our teeth, or chasing a lost cause. In either event, he's run around like a man possessed trying to put pressure on the opposition's defence. If he was to start a match, he would play a more 'paced' game and may well last much longer than some expect?
