    Dan Burn

Out for 2 months (and Eddie said that was 'speculative' but it's long term.

Gutted for him and also a big change for us-an important part of the defence which has served us so well. Targett, too, is injured and out for 3 months.

Obviously, this will allow Hall to step up and he'll offer a lot more going forward although he's still learning his trade as a full back.

Can anyone remember a season where we've been so badly hit by so many injuries in such a short space of time?

    Botman
    Burn
    Targett
    Murphy
    Anderson
    Barnes
    Isak

Difference now from years gone by in an injury crisis is we are still getting results. Men are stepping up.

Yeah, agreed, but for how long?

No real options to rest Gordon, or Miggy, or Schar, or Tripps, or Wilson, or Bruno…

Playing all the time will make them more injury prone, and we’re going to have so few options off the bench with any experience as it now without losing anyone else.

True enough but I can only say what I see. We are performing. Hoping we get a couple back post international break then we can think about January to help us.

I suspect we will see Trippier at left back now.

    Same.

    It'll be

    Tino - Lascelles - Schar - Tripps

That is my guess, with Hall and Dummet coming in when needed.

Just hope we come through Tuesday's game intact then our next league game then take a breather during the Internationals but we'll still have the likes of Bruno, Joelinton and company playing.
