He may have 'gone' as a player Brin but is he turning up to training, putting in 100% effort, making himself available to play? it's not his fault we gave him a 3 year contract as a knee jerk to the MS departure. You are right I don't get to see him often (like most probably) but he certainly didn't disgrace himself against Stoke on Boxing Day (and I know that's 10 months ago).

None of us has seen very much on Tom when he is fit,I suspect he isn`t very good, but I`ve no idea really, which is strange given how long he`s been here.
As regards a new manager, the current one hasn`t left yet,and maybe he won`t yet,but if he did,I would very much doubt we would see Warnock again,he did his bit for us,cheers Colin.
Give Lampard a ring, apparently Oxford are after him, which of course could be b*llocks, absolutely a no to Pearson and Ainsworth,I suspect the only people who would give a go would some experienced guy who`s been out work a bit,or another rookie like Warne or Taylor.

As usual MT comment is inaccurate 15 players out of the 30 players listed on theRotherham United website as first team squad are his, 4 of the other 15 are kids, so not some MT more than half. How arrogant to say nobody can do a better job than him at the moment, unbelievable. That is saying nobody else can motivate them better, make better team selections or tactical decisions or better in game decisions like the use of subs to correct the mistakes he made in the original selection. Anyway it is with the board now, I think it will be a financial decision based on can we afford to sack him, because they cannot be happy with what they are seeing away from home where we are as bad as PW first season at this level. I am amazed he says the board were delighted with last weeks draw against qpr we were not good in that game. If the board say he should stay then obviously we need to support the decision and hope things improve.

Why are you amazed? TBF he said. . "The board we pleased with the last couple of performances" so is he lying? are the board easily pleased? Or are you easily amazed?

Addressing your next point, do you think any other Manager in this league could have produced better home performances than MT has given his relatively meagre resources and crippling injury list. I think it’s been impressive, what do you think?

Lastly you say it,s with the board now. What is, a copy of the Daily Mail?
    I didn’t say untrue I said inaccurate.

Yes to the second point, this view we have done very well at home is misleading, 10 points from 8 games 2 wins against bottom half teams. We are a third of the way through the season so that would equate to 6 wins 30 points. Cardiff were 4th from bottom last season with 13 wins, where are the other 7 coming from?. Our home form is a lot better than our away form, but that is so bad it makes the home form look better than it is. It is a lot better I agree but unfortunately the EFL expects you to play games away from home as well, and they are so harsh that the final league position is decided by both home and away added together.
The injury list has been awful, but unfortunately I do not sit in the camp of this is due to the supernatural force of luck, but believe there are factors that have impacted us in terms of injury. I do feel for MT and I do believe he believes what he is saying and that he works hard and is doing his best, I do not think his best is good enough andI do not believe it will be good enough in League 1, I base my opinion on what I have witnessed from his Rotherham team this season. The meagre resources annoys me, compared to other clubs yes I agree but compared to other Rotherham managers I disagree, he has got his recruitment strategy all wrong.
Your last comment is flippant and not worthy of you. The board of Rotherham United will decide his fate, and although a number of us want him gone now, it will be their decision and rightly so. If they keep him I will live with it and hope he wins every game to prove me and others wrong, but I doubt he will do enough to duplicate last seasons league position, which is all I have ever expected. It is better for us all if we respect each others views even if we disagree with those views, this is dividing the fans and that cannot be good for anyone.

The immediate task for the manager - be it the current one or a replacement, is to keep us in touch with the 3 teams above us (only a gap of 5 points) until the January transfer window when there might be an opportunity to plug some of the gaps we currently have and give us a hope of picking up sufficient points till the end of the season.

If the manager is to change, the key attribute that we have always had in our successful teams is an ability to work hard and punch above our weight. Who knows that way of playing more than the likes of Moore, Breckin, Frecklington and Wood, and is it beyond reality that a combination of those guys could take us through to Jan at least? I'm not even sure if Ronnie is allowed to manage anymore?

The possibility of points deductions for some Championship sides before the season's end is an added incentive to chasing the possibility of survival and the increased reward for being in this division next year.

I think you will find Norwich were 2nd and unbeaten when we beat them and Coventry were 8th so not exactly bottom half teams.

Btw I didn't say untrue, I said Inaccurate

I keep seeing folk posting stats of MT and why they thinks he's so bad.
    Here's a stat for you.
Rufc have lost 2 of their last 6 games.
    1 win and 3 draws...

Preston wba and Sunderland (5th 6th & 7th) have lost more games in the same period than we have.

This season will likely be one where fewer points will see teams safe than last year. There are still plenty of teams that are around 1ppg, it could be as low as 40 pts that see a team stay up.

The obvious names will pop up, Warnock, Evans, Eustace, Rowett probably even Paul Hurst.
I would wager it’s between Chris Wilder & Neil Warnock.
